Friesland Campina, founded from two Dutch dairy companies, produces and sells consumer products such as dairy-based beverages, infant nutrition, cheese and desserts. Through their flagship Dairy Development Programme (DDP) Friesland Campina provides education, training and investments with the goal of improving local dairy farming across their key AMEA markets.
Nanyang Technological University’s Food Science and Technology Programme (NTU FST) is a partnership with Wageningen University and Research (WUR) from the Netherlands. Besides collaborating on student programmes both universities work closely together to develop technological innovations in the food industry, such as the sustainable production of natural food preservatives.
Rabobank is a financial service provider of Dutch origin, focused on international business and rural activities in general and the Food and Agri sector in particular. Through the 2018 inaugural Food Loss Challenge Asia, an open innovation Challenge for agritech startups in Asia, Rabobank puts it’s knowledge, networks and financing capabilities to use to encourage clients in adopting a more sustainable food production practice globally.
