SNWH: System Analysis for PUB reservoirs by Guus Kruitwagen, PhD

9 Mar 2018 : 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Witteveen+Bos is currently working on a project for PUB about management of their reservoirs in Singapore. Guus Kruitwagen of Witteveen+Bos will be in Singapore on the 9th of March 2018 and will give a presentation on this project. After the presentation there will be drinks and bites to further elaborate and network.

The Project: System Analysis
System analysis is an approach aimed at gaining an understanding of the processes that determine the water quality in a water system. It is a diagnostic approach which is used to structure the available data on hydrology, chemistry, and water quality. The system analysis methodology will enable water manager to identify key processes and factors that affect water quality. By Identifying the processes and factor, accurate prevention and mitigation measures can be applied to maintain or to improve the water quality in a water system. Case studies on the use of system analysis will be briefly described.
