In Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore (commonly referred to as ASEAN-5) a rapidly growing population in the urban deltas can be seen. Consequently, the countries are facing new and increasing water-related challenges such as flood protection, drainage, clean water supply, wastewater, and sanitation. These challenges create business opportunities for the Dutch Water Technology sector.

In the first quarter of 2021, a RVO-commissioned study was carried out by Royal HaskoningDHV to identify market opportunities for Dutch companies in the water technology sector in the ASEAN-5 countries. Results of this study will be used to better inform water technology companies in the Netherlands about business opportunities and challenges in these countries. In this webinar, the highlights of this water study will be presented and point up several business opportunities.
